The EU partnership EUAH&W has published the first call for proposal focused on these topics: - Topic 1: Novel Technologies for Prevention, Detection, Assessment, and Management of Animal Health and Welfare; - Topic 2: Fundamental Research for Animal Health and Welfare; - Topic 3: Animal Health and Welfare and Society; The Italian Universities has MASAF and MUR as funding bodies.

EU Partnership Animal Health and Welfare (EUPAHW) The European Partnership on Animal Health and Welfare is focused on the control infectious diseases of animals and the promotion of the animal welfare. The Partnership is anticipated to invest €360 million over seven years to boost research and facilitate cooperation between all actors. The scope goes beyond the animal health and welfare actors to enhance cross sector collaboration and, through a One Health and One Welfare approach, to provide societal impact. The objectives of the EUP AH&W align with the European Green Deal and its associated Farm to Fork strategy for a fair, healthy, and environmentally friendly food system.
