Password

Starting October 29th, 2024, thanks to the Esse3 password change or recovery process, you can set a unique password. The new Esse3 password will also become your Spes password.

The Spes password can no longer be modified or recovered separately from the Esse3 password. If you need to recover your Spes password, you will need to change (or recover) your Esse3 password through Esse3.

In summary, every Esse3 password recovery or change ensures that the password is the same for all services. 

Please note that if you use devices configured for access to the university Wi-Fi, it is recommended to update the password in the Eduroam connection after changing the password.

 

Password Recovery

To recover Spes password you need to change (or recover) your Esse3 password through Esse3.
The procedure for recovering a lost password CANNOT be done from the Microsoft login interface.

Password change

To change Spes password you need to change your Esse3 password through Esse3.

The password to access to your mailbox is the same password used to connect to the WiFi network and to the computers of the University computer rooms (except those of Department of Mathematics, Computer Science and Physics) and to the online libraries.
If you change your Spes password, the accesses listed above will change too.

You can use also IDNumber@spes.uniud.it

Other information

Given that there may be problems with homonymy, the address may have a different format (for example: surname.name.001@spes.uniud.it). To verify your address go into your Web-based mail, click on the "My account" icon at the top right and there you can see your email address.
