Research Group of the Uniud Unit within the Horizon Project “SONAR-CITIES - Social Sciences Participatory Research Action in Risk Management for Disasters and Health Emergencies in Europe’s Cities,” funded by the European Union (Grant 101168315).

The project, coordinated by the Institut Pasteur (France) and carried out in collaboration with numerous international academic and institutional partners, aims to enhance risk preparedness among vulnerable and socially fragile populations. Its objective is to strengthen the resilience of European cities in the face of disasters and large-scale health emergencies by developing inclusive communication tools. These tools will be designed through a participatory process involving experts, emergency management authorities, local associations, caregivers, and vulnerable individuals.
