Educational objectives
The Course will give you a solid, basic preparation in those subjects that characterize Economic Sciences. During the course you will not only have the opportunity to attend fundamental courses in economics and economic history, but also to familiarize yourselves with a whole series of modern tools which nowadays represent essential knowledge for a degree in economics. A part of the course will also be dedicated to an inter-disciplinary preparation in the business and legal field. At the end of the course, you will be able to use a plurality of tools, to deal with economic problems on all levels.
The salient characteristics of the course are:
a) study of fundamental subjects of economic sciences: microeconomics and macroeconomics;
b) courses of study in the economic field, including for example Political economy, Economic policy, Applied economics, Financial sciences or Economic history;
c) acquisition of mathematical and statistical techniques; mathematical methods for the economy, actuarial and financial sciences, statistics and economic statistics;
d) inter-disciplinary preparation in the business and legal sector which will give you further professional opportunities, for example in enterprises, banks, public administrations and freelance work.
The course prepares you to be specialists in management, commercial and banking sciences, market analysts, and specialists in economic systems.
