Techniques in Medical Radiology by Images and Radiotherapy
Educational objectives
The Course will train you as health care professionals able to carry out all those operations that require the use of artificial and natural ionizing radiation sources, thermal and ultrasonic energies and nuclear magnetic resonance. It consists of theoretical lessons and practical activities, dedicated to individual or group learning using simulations, practical lessons, guided clinical study, seminars and ordinary professional practice carried out in the operating units of Nuclear Medicine, Radiotherapy, Health Physics, Magnetic Resonance, Radio-diagnostics and Interventional Radiology.
You will do your internships at the operating units of Nuclear medicine, Radiotherapy, Health Physics, Angiography and Radio-diagnostics of Udine University Hospital “Santa Maria della Misericordia”, those of the Regional Health Service (Isontina Monfalcone, Alto Friuli, Medio Friuli, Bassa Friulana and Friuli Occidentale) and at the CRO (Oncological center) in Aviano.
After graduating and enrolling on the professional Register, you will be able to work in public structures (of the National Health Service, hospitals, Universities) or private structures, also as a freelancer. You can also find work in production industries and sales agencies working in the field of image and radiotherapy diagnostics, or in University research centers.
Professional opportunities
The Degree Course in Medical Radiology Techniques for Images and Radiotherapy enables the graduate, after enrolling on the professional Register, to work in public structures (of the national Health Service, hospitals, Universities) or private structures, including as freelancers.
